Bernie Nielsen

Bernie began her career after attending Ritter Beauty College in Minnesota. She has over 30 years of experience and has held many positions in the salon including stylist, manager, district manager and educator. She has been in the Aveda network, as Director of Operations for Remedez, since it opened in 2002. While under her direction, Remedez has been recognized 5 times as one of the top 200 salons in the nation by Salon Today, and 7 times by Best of State, Utah.

Bernie has a passion for the beauty industry, beginning at an early age cutting and styling her Barbie's hair. This passion has driven her to coach many hair stylists and service providers to be very successful, confident individuals. She enjoys the outdoors while hiking, camping, ATV riding and cooking with her family.

Danine Imboden

Danine graduated from Evans Hairstyling College, Cedar City, UT in June 1987. Education has been the catalyst to her success. She has traveled to New York, Toronto, Washington, Colorado, Minnesota, California, Nevada, and Idaho for numerous training classes, studying advanced haircutting, coloring and styling techniques. Inspiring hairdressers to continually work on perfecting their craft, Danine is the Director of Education for Remedez. Though very talented in all aspect of hair, she specializes in customizing an individual look for each guest, creating an easy effortless classy style. When she is not behind the chair she is knitting and collecting vintage cookbooks. 

Julie Wood

Julie graduated from Von Curtis Academy, Provo, UT in 1990. She is continually attending advanced education to keep a creative and artistic edge in her work. Most of her extensive training has been in haircolor and coloring techniques because hair color is her passion. In Julie's free time, she loves to read, listen to music and enjoy the outdoors.

Trista Bowman

Graduating from Bon Losee's Master Esthetics program in 2005, Trista truly developed her passion and talent for skincare, makeup and waxing. After joining Remedez Hair Spa in 2007, she also acts as Spa Manager and an Aveda Freelance Advisor for the Aveda Network. Her interests include movies, reading and shopping. Trista is excited to share her expertise with guests and bring together inner and outer beauty.

Becka Livingston

In 2001, Becka graduated from Von Curtis Academy which is now Paul Mitchell the School in Provo. She works hard to provide her guests with an overall look they will appreciate. She does this through constant learning, and sharing her knowledge with her guests, teaching them how to get their desired look at home.  Becka is very talented in everything that has to do with hair including cuts, colors and even perms! She loves spending time with her husband and dogs, reading, doing anything outside, and watching movies.

Amber Jackman

Having recently graduated from the Aveda Institute Provo, Amber’s goal is to be at the top of her game. She would love to be an instructor and travel the world to share her knowledge. Her favorite part of cosmetology is color because it can make such a difference in the guest’s appearance. She taught sign language to second and third grade classes and loved it. She also loves to sing.

Angela Jensen

Angela graduated from Bon Losee Academy of Hair Artistry in Provo. She continues to get a great education while working in the salon because she has the desire to be the best of the best. Angela loves being creative while coloring and styling hair. It’s rewarding when you see the finished product and the difference it makes on a guest’s appearance and self image. Angela enjoys traveling, shopping, reading, cooking and spending time with friends and family.

Aly Asay

Aly attended Fran Brown College of Beauty in Layton, UT. She loves Remedez and believes in the power of stability, continuing to deliver fantastic hair to her guests. She works well with clients, helping them determine exactly what they want. Her expertise is in coloring, wedding hair, and can round brush like no one's business! Aly enjoys reading, shopping, cooking and traveling. You will always see her wearing a piece of elephant jewelry because she loves elephants.

Brianna Jensen

Brianna came into the Aveda network by attending the Aveda Institute Provo.  During her time with Aveda she has developed a strong belief in its mission and values. Brianna loves making each client feel and look amazing! Her personality invites her clients to be a part of the fun and creativity of hairstyling while maintaining great technique. She enjoys the opportunity to be creative and artistic. She is especially motivated by coloring techniques and hairstyling!  Brianna also values continuously growing in her profession through on-going education.

When she isn’t behind the chair, Brianna enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and 2 little puppies. She also has a passion for singing and performing on and off stage and in the studio!

Britney Wright

After graduating from Paul Mitchell the School, Britney continues to grow as a stylist by continuing her education to enable her to give her clients only the best. She believes in offering her guests the latest and most suited hairstyle for their face shape and lifestyle. Britney is very accomplished in color, men’s and women’s haircuts. When not at work, she will be watching sports, hanging out with family and traveling with her husband.

Brittlynn Nicholls

After growing up in Seattle, Washington, Brittlynn has attended Aveda Institute Provo and Clover Park Technical College in Tacoma, Washington. Her goal is to study hair color and cuts around the world. Brittlynn is great with color, especially color melting and loves working with curly hair. She will go ballroom dancing when she is not at Remedez or working on her psychology major at BYU.

Chelsea Hall

Chelsea graduated from the Aveda Institute Provo. She has been inspired to one day become an Aveda color purefessional, teaching and inspiring others. She is a master at styling updos and has styled hair for many fashion shows. Chelsea is very detail oriented and adds a creative twist to her looks. In her spare time she likes to sing, watch movies and spend time with family and friends.

Erica Asay

As a graduate of the Aveda Institute Provo, Erica is inspired to become and cutting and color Purefessional in the Aveda network. While her specialty is short women’s haircuts, Erica also has a passion for color, especially the dramatic colors. Her outside interests include playing guitar, sketching, photography, crafts, outdoor adventures, cooking and spending time with family.

Jeanette Bond

Jeanette grew up in Idaho and graduated from Scot Lewis, a Paul Mitchell Partner School in Boise. Her goal is to continue in her education of hair and life. By doing this she will be able to implement her knowledge for the benefit of her clients. While enjoying all aspects of hair, Jeanette is very talented in haircutting for men and women. She likes to be creative with color, using fun colors and unique techniques. She was raised to appreciate and enjoy nature and wildlife.  In her spare time she likes to bake and cook.

Kristen Beck

Kristen graduated from Paul Mitchell the School in 2009 and has always enjoyed the opportunity of being a hair stylist. She loves being a part of Remedez because she sees this salon as a place where people can take a few minutes to relax and pamper themselves. Clients walk away with beautiful hair, with a renewed energy and confidence. Kristen loves all aspects of doing hair but gets most excited for weaves, short haircuts on women and formal styling. When she is not at work she enjoys exercise, the outdoors, reading, traveling, photography, and anything crafty. She finds the most enjoyment out of creating anything beautiful with her hands.

Rebecca Coughman

Rebecca attended the Aveda Institute Provo. She strives to help everyone unlock their best look and will teach them how to achieve their look at home. Rebecca loves haircutting from the classic cuts to the edgy pixies. She also is a master at selecting a haircolor that compliments the skin tone, all to show off your personality. On her days off she enjoys spending time with her husband refinishing furniture and cuddling with her newborn.

Sage attended Paul Mitchell The School in Provo, Utah. She has a thirst for learning as much as she can to increase her ability to provide her guests with the outcome they seek. She’s great with color, particularly blondes and foiling while always giving an amazing shampoo. Sage enjoys shopping and fashion.  When not at work, she spends her time outdoors with her husband and baby boy, Nixon.

Amber graduated from the Utah College of Massage Therapy. She has a passion for connecting with people and learning from them. Even though Amber’s massages involve the different massage techniques, her true love is taking the holistic approach in her massages using energy work to connect the mind, body and spirit. It gives great results. Amber has been performing since she was 5 years old. She loves the theatre, singing opera and spending time with her handsome hubby.

Aiko Toma

Aiko is originally from Japan and attended Marinello / Bon Losee College of Beauty and BYU. She prides herself on providing a service that meets and exceeds your expectations while brightening your lives with her fun personality. Aiko is talented and licensed in both salon and spa services. Her specialties are updos, haircutting, ethnic hair and waxing, especially facial waxing. Some of her favorite pastimes are eating, snowboarding, playing volleyball and hula dancing.

She enjoys cooking, reading, and family. Erika has traveled to many beautiful places such as Mexico and New Zealand, and hopes to travel even more in the future.

Morgan Mulliner

Morgan graduated from Acaydia School of Aesthetics. Her passion for skin and makeup drives her to educate the basics of hair, skin and makeup to those who may not be able to receive it. She loves waxing and applying makeup. Morgan is a triplet and loves the outdoors. To relax she will read, run, watch old classic films or spend time with family.
